CEL CSR Projects Approved by the Board of Directors for FY 2022-23

Pursuant to Section 135 (5) of The Companies Act 2013, the Board of every company referred to in sub-section (1), shall ensure that the company spends, in every financial year, of least two per cent, of the average net profits of the company made during the three immediately preceding financial years, in pursuance of its Corporate Social Responsibility Policy”.

The CSR Committee and the Board approved the following projects for the F.Y 2022-23:

1.   For promoting healthcare including preventive healthcare, CEL has donated Ambulance and Medical Equipment's to District Women Hospital, Ghaziabad with a total expenditure of Rs. 37,39,353.60

2.   For promoting education, CEL has donated Rs. 7,52,404/- for Anganwadi Workers Training Program and for IT Infrastructure Development in Girls Inter College, Ghaziabad

3.    For Setting up of home and hostel for women under Schedule VII of the Act, CEL has developed the infrastructure for Blind Girls Home in Shahdara, Delhi and provided them with Beds, Fridge, Mattresses with a total expenditure of Rs. 1,80,965.84

Additionally, CEL transferred Rs.3,96,991/- to PM CARES Fund under Schedule VII of the Act.
